Cooking techniques in Beastro
Most Beastro ingredients want a particular technique before they are worth putting in a dish. Boiling, chopping, roasting, sautéing and tenderizing each cover part of the pantry, and 18 ingredients need no preparation at all.
Technique matters twice in Beastro. It decides which ingredients you can actually use on a given day, and the upgrade you buy for each technique raises the quality of everything it touches, which raises the values on the venture cards those ingredients produce.
Which Beastro technique to upgrade first
Follow the pantry. Sautéing covers 38 Beastro ingredients, the largest share by far, so its upgrade touches the most meals. Boiling with 23 and roasting with 17 come next, while chopping covers 9 and tenderizing only 2, so those can wait.
The upgrades are sold at their own stations: the oven, the tenderizer, the boiling pot, the chopping board and the sauté pan each have their own items in the Beastro shop list.
