What throwable treats do in Beastro

Throwable treats are what you throw at the friendly creatures around Palo Pori rather than at anything in a fight. Feed a Beastro creature the treat it wants and it gives something back, which makes the 16 treats a quiet supply line running alongside the farm and the shops.

Five creatures accept treats in Beastro: Delishkens, Fenpires, Kaoos, Spinewts and Watoucans. Delishkens take the widest spread by far, with eleven of the sixteen treats aimed at them, while the Fenpire, Kaoo, Spinewt and Watoucan each have a single food of their own.

Delishken eggs in Beastro

Ten of the Beastro treats are Delishken feeds, and each one names the egg it brings back. Feeding a Delishken an Attack Treat returns an Attack Up Egg, a Shield Treat returns a Shield Egg, and so on down the list. Those eggs are ingredients in their own right, so a treat is really a recipe that converts pantry stock into a specific venture card.

That conversion is the reason to keep Delishkens fed in Beastro. The eggs carry effects you cannot reliably farm anywhere else, and the treat that makes each one is listed against it below.

Where Beastro treats come from

Twelve treats are made from ingredients, and four are simply gathered: grubs, glow grubs, leaves and lily pads are picked up in the world and thrown as they are. Grubs double as fishing bait, and glow grubs are the night-time version, which the Delishkens want nothing to do with.

Eight of the sixteen Beastro treats are locked until you find the recipe, so the creature feeds arrive gradually rather than all at once.
